Day 34: Raise Up a Remnant

Today’s Reading:
Day 33 / Raise Up a Remnant (pages 188-193)

My ah-ha from today’s reading:

“Every generation needs a reformation. Every generation needs to tear down its idols and rebuild its temples. Every generation needs to repent of its sin and rediscover the ancient truths.”

I couldn’t get away from this sentence. I kept wanting to turn back and read it over and over.

Our generation.

We too need a reformation.

We too need to tear down our idols – our idols of busyness, distractions, hustle and bustle…

And rebuild our temples.

God is ready to pour out revival upon our generation. It wasn’t just for the older generation. It is for us too.

When we decide that a prayer meeting IS the most important meeting…

revival will come.

In our homes. In our families. In our churches. In our hearts.

Revival will come.

Keep praying. Keep circling. Make it THE priority over everything else that competes in this world.

And RAISE ‘EM UP, LORD!!

  1. Revival!!! Lord our generation has forgotten about revival. We need to tear down the idols, the smartphone, money, etc. we need to hit our knees. We need to make God first. Wow did this chapter hit home ( and my heart).
