Today’s Reading:
Day 31 / Spell it Out (pages 171-175)
My ah-ha from today’s reading:
“Jesus is still asking the question: What do you want me to do for you?”
This question is for all of us.
I sat down at the beginning of our first 40 day challenge and told God what I wanted. Those dreams haven’t changed much. I now have that list on my war room wall – so that I am reminded to talk to God about it often (and mainly because it was inside of a journal that got full and I kept misplacing it when I wanted to look at the list!).
What I do see when I look at this list is progress. While none of my dreams have been marked off that list yet, I see God’s hand moving in every one of the items listed.
Have you made your list? Write it down. Stop making excuses. Put a date on your list so you can look back and reference this day. Don’t worry about your list being perfect, just write from your heart and passion – even if it seems RIDICULOUSLY CRAZY!!
It may feel very weird and self-centered, yes.
But Jesus is asking each one of us the same question he asked the blind men. He knows what we want. But he still wants to hear it from our heart.
I would love to hear some of your dreams so that I can encourage you along the way!
