Day 21: Set Your Foot

Today’s Reading:
Day 21/ Set Your Foot (pages 118-122)

My ah-ha from today’s reading:

“Drawing prayer circles is a metaphor that simply means “praying until God answers.” It’s a determination to pray as long as it takes, even if it takes longer than you ever imagined.”

This line says it all. This is the reason we’re doing this challenge.

We are here to pray until God answers.

I know I’m not the only one that has doubts. Maybe you’ve had second thoughts about this whole prayer challenge thing. Maybe you feel like you’re doing it all wrong or like it doesn’t matter. Maybe you’ve fallen behind. None of those things mean you’re kicked out. God doesn’t work like that.

The fact that you’re here means you’re determined.

You’re not alone, friend. I’m here for the long haul and I’m determined to pray as long as it takes with you!

On the days when I feel like giving up, I’m going to push on. I’m going to reset, refocus, and remember that I was created for such a time as this.

I’m ready to change the course of my life and grab hold of the promises of God!

God, you’ve got us right where you want us – in raw dependence of You. Show up and show off in our lives!

  1. Yes, we are here together for a reason. Perhaps this time there will be a breakthrough for some of us. If not this time then we will keep pressing forward. I think I might need to read this book again after this for it to sink in.
