Today’s Reading:
Day 20/ Go. Set. Ready. (pages 112-117)
My ah-ha from today’s reading:
“You’ll never be ready.”
“And if you are looking for an excuse, you will always find one.”
“If you wait until you’re ready, you’ll be waiting for the rest of your life.”
Who am I kidding? This entire chapter was exactly what I needed to read in my life at this moment. I pretty much underlined every paragraph, ha!
The story about the missionary at the end really hit me hard. Do I listen to God like that? Sure. We all would like to think we do. But, do we really? Are we willing to step WAYY out of our comfort zones and follow wherever God leads – even to a cannibal country????
I’ve been waiting and getting ready for a LONG time in my life. That wait is over. No more excuses. I’m setting out to put action behind what I believe God is calling me to do in my life.
Anyone else with me?

Me! Me! Me!
I said the exact same thing!!! Lord, did you write this chapter just for me today?!?!!! No more excuses, no more waiting. As I questioned all day if me and my family are really ready for me going back to school… Sit down tonight to read and first line is …. You will never be ready. Guess that answers it….
I am with you!!!
