Day 8: One God-Idea

Today’s Reading:
Day 8 / One God-Idea (pages 52-56)

My ah-ha from today’s reading:

The words “presence of God” keeps sticking out for me today.

“…God-ideas are only revealed in the presence of God.”

“The best plans are birthed in the presence of God.”

“If we hit our knees, the Holy Spirit will reveal things that can only be discovered in the presence of God.”

Our dreams.
Our ideas.
Our problems.
Our sickness.
Our financial struggles.
Our worst sin.
Our greatest fear.

God is bigger. Bigger than all of the above.

And in the presence of Godit all changes.

“How big is your God?”

  1. That’s been a sticking point for me lately. Can He do this? Yes! Will I let Him? Not really. Not lately.
His presence. It’s where I want to be.

    1. It’s hard to let go of the control in our lives at times. I really struggle with that. I’m seeing the more that I’m in His presence, I’m more able to release control. Learning one day at a time!

  2. Until we come to the conviction that God’s grace and God’s power know no limits, we will draw small prayer circles. But once we embrace the omnipotence of God We’ll draw ever-enlarging circles around our God-given, God-sized dreams. How big is my God? Do I dare to dream big? I must learn to embrace Him and His power.
